Nicolas Prost fastest rookie in Malaysia!
A1 Team France started the A1GP Sepang weekend well by topping the rookie session in Malaysia. Nicolas Prost, who made his race debut for the team earlier this month in Chengdu, set the fastest lap right at the death of the session, with a time approaching half a second quicker than anyone else. Nico will now hand the car over to lead driver Loïc Duval, who will be in the car for the rest of the weekend.
“We were quick all session, so it was a very positive morning,” Nicolas Prost said. “I worked a lot learning the track on the PlayStation before I came here, but I wasn’t ready for the temperature which will make the race very tough. I hope Loïc will like the car.”
