Now, it's finally official, that John Barnard, who worked for Team McLaren in the successful years of Alain Prost, who won two titles with the cars designed by John Barnard in 1985 and 1986, has joined Alain's team... Alain said, that John Barnard is working as a technical consultant for Team Prost GP and helps to develop the new Prost-Peugeot AP02, the car for 1999... There are now more than 200 people working for Team Prost Grand Prix! Let's hope that, with so many people working for the team, the good results will arrive next year! Allez, Alain! Together with Ferrari, McLaren, Jordan, Sauber, Stewart, Williams, Arrows and Minardi, Team Prost GP was testing in Barcelona... M. Schumacher was fastest with 1:23,8. Nick Heidfeld on McLaren 2nd with 1:24,0, two tenths slower than "Schumi I". Jarno Trulli on Prost was half a second faster than Stéphane Sarrazin, who was testing for Team Prost, too... Trulli was 9th and Sarrazin 11th. Actually, the Prost's seem to be slower than Arrows, but faster than Stewart...
