In my Newspage of 6^th September 1997, I wrote, that a lot of newspapers and news agencies reported that the deal between Alain Prost and Damon Hill is nearly done. But Damon Hill now has announced that he has signed a contract with Jordan for 1998! Alain could not understand, that Hill signed with Jordan, although he had a definitive "Gentleman's Agreement" with Team Prost (Hill had not yet signed a contract with Team Prost). It seems, that Hill changed his oppinion because of money...

Alain already made an offer to Gerhard Berger in the meantime, but Gerhard refused...
